Unleash Beast Mode with These Killer Chest Finishers!

Looking to push your chest workout to the limit and maximize those untouched muscle fibers? These five intense chest finishers are designed to take your workout to the next level, ensuring that you reach your full potential and stimulate maximum muscle growth.

  1. 3-Way Push-Up: Start with a triset of push-ups at different angles. Begin with elevated push-ups (feet on a bench) until fatigue, then switch to regular push-ups on the ground, and finally, hands elevated on a bench for the last set. Aim for 3 trisets, maintaining perfect form throughout to challenge your chest muscles effectively.
  2. Machine Gun Press 100: Utilize a machine press for a high-rep, fatigue-inducing set. Set the weight light and manageable on a machine press station. Alternate with a partner, aiming for a total of 100 reps collectively, switching back and forth without rest until reaching exhaustion. This continuous “machine gun” style set provides a final blast to your chest muscles.
  3. Cable Cross Complex: Transform traditional cable crossovers into an intense complex. Start with low cable crossovers, gradually raising the pulleys as you fatigue. Once finished, immediately transition to push-ups on the floor. Aim for 3 sets of this challenging combination to fully engage your chest muscles.
  4. 3-Angled Attack: With minimal equipment needed, this multi-angle attack targets every area of your pecs. Begin with reverse grip bench presses or dumbbell presses for upper pecs, followed by flat bench presses for overall chest engagement. Finish with decline chest flys in a bridge position. Complete 3 trisets for a comprehensive chest workout.
  5. Push-Up Strip: Elevate the traditional push-up by adding weight plates with a partner’s assistance. Start with plates on your upper back and perform slow, controlled reps. As you fatigue, have your partner strip off plates one by one until you reach muscular failure with just your body weight. Repeat for 3 sets to test your full body control and strength.
