The Gaines’ Famous Waco Restaurant Makes a Big Announcement

If you’re familiar with Chip and Joanna Gaines (and let’s face it, who isn’t?), you’ve probably heard of their Magnolia brand and their famous Waco, Texas destination, the Silos. The Silos offer a variety of shops, with the latest addition being The Art of Entertaining, and several dining options. While Silos Baking Co. is a favorite for its mouthwatering cupcakes, the real gem in the Chip and Joanna dining world is Magnolia Table, their sit-down restaurant just a short drive away from the Silos.

Magnolia Table has been a popular spot since it opened its doors in 2018, serving up breakfast, lunch, and brunch until 3 p.m. But come September 20, 2024, fans of the restaurant will finally be able to enjoy a full dinner service. Although we still have some time before that date arrives, Magnolia gave a sneak peek of the entire dinner menu on September 3, sharing the news through Better Homes & Gardens. Every dish on the dinner menu is a reflection of Joanna’s culinary love, drawing directly from her three cookbooks: Magnolia Table, Magnolia Table, Volume 2, and Magnolia Table, Volume 3. These cookbooks, filled with personal stories and favorite recipes, have been a labor of love for Joanna, and now the dishes inspired by them will be served at Magnolia Table for dinner.

One of the stars of the new dinner menu is Becki’s Mac & Cheese, a dish with a special place in Joanna’s heart. Joanna has often said that if she had to eat just one thing for the rest of her life, it would be mac and cheese—and Becki’s recipe is her all-time favorite. “I first had this mac and cheese at my friend Becki’s house, and it instantly became a favorite,” Joanna shared. “It’s become a tradition that every time our families have dinner together, she makes this dish. It’s simple and creamy enough for the kids to love, but the blend of cheeses and crispy panko topping keeps it interesting for the adults.” Alongside this fan-favorite, other cookbook classics like Honey Butter Layered Biscuit Bites will also make their debut on the dinner menu.

Magnolia Table’s dinner offerings are designed to provide a full dining experience, complete with appetizers, soups, salads, shareable plates, and main dishes. For families, there’s also a dedicated kids menu, and dessert lovers will be pleased with both seasonal and classic options to end their meal on a sweet note. And, of course, no dinner service is complete without drinks. Magnolia Table’s new drink menu will feature a variety of craft cocktails, wines, beers, and even a mocktail for those looking to enjoy a non-alcoholic treat.

The addition of dinner service at Magnolia Table will undoubtedly excite fans of the Gaines family, giving them yet another reason to visit Waco and experience the heartwarming dishes that have become staples in the Gaines household. With Joanna’s personal touch on each recipe and a menu inspired by her own cookbooks, the restaurant is sure to provide a memorable dining experience. Whether it’s enjoying a signature cocktail or savoring Becki’s famous mac and cheese, Magnolia Table’s new dinner service will soon be the talk of the town.
